Carbon Steel Clevis Pin is used as a secure and quick fastener in place of rivets and bolts. These are designed with both a flat or domed head on one end and a cross hole at the other. It is inserted through holes at the pronged ends of a clevis and is kept in place by a cotter pin. These are referred to as hinge pins or link pins that consist of a head. It is used to prevent two items from moving relative to each other that are less adjustable as they hold two parts in one position the same.
